Welcome to our little corner of the internet! I started this blog to share dog life stories.
When deciding what to do for a dog, I had no idea what to do! Everyone had their own opinions and there were conflicting articles online. I went with my gut and ended up with the best dog ever, and later added a second to complete my fur family.

Meet Freddy
Found as a stray on the streets in Texas, Freddy was transported to Minnesota by a local animal rescue shelter. He joined our family at four months old, and finally at nine months, had a good basis of trust.
When he’s not side eyeing and being stubborn about not getting his way (mostly because he just wants a walk), he loves guarding the yard and announcing his presence to all who walk by. But, he’s still deciding whether his number one love is cardboard or yarn.

Meet Leela
Originally named Olaf, Leela was adopted by a local family who decided they preferred another puppy. Thus, he needed a new home. Both the family and his vet think he is likely a puppy mill dog. He’s been part of our family for a few months and is nine months old; and still trying to overcome his trust issues.
When he’s not bouncing around (he flies up and down stairs two or three at a time!), he’s following Freddy, stealing food, and getting up to mischief.
